Is It Worthy of Wrapping Your Car for Business?

What Is Commercial Vehicle Wrapping?
Car wrapping has become popular, especially for businesses, because it’s an easy way to advertise. The process involves placing a series of custom vinyl decals over the vehicle's body to change the appearance. The pieces are matched to the car to ensure the best fit and a cohesive design across the car. If the wrap is maintained correctly, the decals can be removed later, unlike a paint job.  A wrap job ask professionals to use Tint Tools, Car Wrap Tools and ppf squeegee.

Many businesses choose to wrap their commercial vehicles because it creates a moving billboard for their company. Without doing much work, the word will spread about your business thanks to these vehicles. Custom designs ensure that the vehicle wrapping is exactly how you want it, with the necessary information for potential customers to see and digest quickly.

Are Vehicle Wraps a Good Investment for My Business?
If you want to advertise your commercial business, it doesn’t take a lot of money or time. You can have a commercial vehicle wrap installed in a fraction of the time and for far less of an investment than a custom paint job. It’s also a very cost-effective form of marketing when compared to other advertising options, because it doesn’t need constant updating or replacement.

Why Does My Company Need a Commercial Vehicle Wrap?
The commercial vehicle wrap is a great way to advertise your business, because it allows you to do so in places that traditional advertising cannot. Where would you put an advertisement for your commercial painting company? You don’t have to make a decision about the best place for a billboard or signage. Most commercial vehicles are not parked on city streets or highways all day long. It is more common that they are on the move. Your company marketing can be seen as your work vehicles are driving down residential roads and through parking lots. Your commercial van or truck will definitely stand out.

Will A Vehicle Wrap Damage Car's Paint

One common concern that people have regarding vehicle wraps is the risk of damaging their paint. You also can trust the wrap shops that have Window Tint Tools Supplies, Wrap Tools and paint protection film installers.

No, wrapping your car will actually protect your paint, as the wrap takes the brunt of the world’s dirt, debris, and environmental wear and your paint stays hidden below. It is not, however, primarily designed as a protectant, and paint can still be damaged through the vinyl by external hazards.

Under normal circumstances, wraps do not damage paint. Keep in mind that vinyl manufacturers do their testing on new vehicles, so anytime we get into a scenario that is not normal on new vehicles, we’re in abnormal, non-warrantable territory.

If the quality of a vehicle paint isn’t the best to start with, there will most likely be a greater risk of damage during the installation and removal process. Prior to wrapping a vehicle it is important to be fully informed on the condition of your existing paint so that you aren’t later surprised by any unexpected damage in the future. We don’t recommend wrapping plastic or unpainted vehicles either as wraps do not stick as well to these surfaces.

Although wraps are stressful on paint, they will usually not damage the painted surface of a vehicle if the paint is bonded as it should be to its surface. Of course, there is no way to know this by looking at any painted vehicle. The only way to test the surface bond of paint is by putting it under tension, and that is what wraps do on compound surfaces. A good example of poor paint bond is on plastic bumpers. When we see paint lift from its surface, it’s commonly on plastic parts.

Will removing car wrap damage paint?

One common concern that people have regarding vehicle wraps applied with vinyl wrap tools is the risk of damaging their paint.

In most cases removing the wrap will not damage the paint, but the damage level might depend on the previous paint condition before the warp. Wrap removal is as simple as pulling off a paint layer as it does not stick to the vehicle with Professional Tinting Tools.

Wrap removal takes time, and you might need to work section by section to ensure you don’t leave any residues which will compromise the paint. However, damage may occur if the wrap is improperly installed, the wrong chemicals are used to peel off the wrap or paint protection film tools are used improperly. A professional can handle the wrap effortlessly, thus paint damage.
